Bernice (Basch) Spector Tobias, 92, of Falls Church, Va., formerly of Bloomfield, died May 31. She was the widow of Irving Spector and Harry Tobias. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dora (Nevins) Basch. She is survived by her children, Laurie Spector and her husband Tony DeFonzo of Bristow, Va., Diane Guerra of Fairfax, Va., and Howard Spector and his wife Claudia Bohn-Spector of South Pasadena, Calif.; her brother Harold Basch of Jacksonville, Fla.; her sister-in-law Bobbe Basch of West Hartford; and her grandchildren, Sara Keith, Zachary Guerra, and Skye Spector and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Basch, and her sister, Gloria Weinstein.
