Faith (Appell) Fichman, 96, of Farmington, formerly of Simsbury, died July 25. She was the widow of Merrill S. Fichman. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Joseph) Appell. She is survived by her children, Dr. Richard A. (Lynn) Fichman of Farmington, and Patti-Ann Fichman of North Hollywood, Calif.; and her grandchildren, Ben J. (Jennifer) Fichman, Meryl A. Fichman and Todd M. Fichman.
