Bring Israel into your home

Volunteers are needed to serve as host families for approximately 60 Israeli high school teens who are expected to participate in Trinity College’s annual fire fighting robot contest his spring.  The Israeli teens always play a prominent role in the competition – often winning top prizes.  Housing is needed from March 25 through April 2 – before Passover and spring school vacations. Responsibilities of host families include (but certainly not limited to): providing lodging, preparing meals, driving teens to and from meeting places.  The practice area will be set up at the JCC in West Hartford and the surrounding communities. For more information call (860) 523-1704 (evenings) or email clctstamps@comcast.net.
Last year more than 10 students were unable to attend the competition due to a lack of host families. We hope not to let that happen again.
